Testing Options Overview:
We offer real world covid testing solutions rooted in science and mathematics that decrease the risk of even one asymptomatic person with coronavirus entering the event site to as low as 0.027% in a group of 10,000 people.
Each business is different and depending on location, business environment and desired outcomes. Which options are best for your business is determined through a review with the business leaders.
Here are the 4 different approaches to corona virus testing:
Pooled Covid Testing
A testing strategy where multiple individual's samples are combined and run as a single PCR test (a single “pool” of samples).
When the results are negative, many people can be cleared by only running that test once.
This is especially applicable in populations with low disease prevalence.
We customize a unique mix of testing approaches to ensure safety as well as keeping costs under control as much as possible.
Because we have our own laboratory we are able to fully control each client uniquely. We look forward to reviewing how we can best serve you with our covid-19 testing services.
Serology Covid Testing
A blood test that identifies individuals exposed to the coronavirus and have developed an immune response in the form of IgG and IgM antibodies in the blood.
Please note: The efficacy and duration of immunity conferred by contact with SARS-CoV-2 has not yet been well established.
RT-PCR Covid Testing
Reverse transcriptase real-time polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) is currently considered the gold standard of coronavirus testing.
RT-PCR uses a nasopharyngeal swab test that processes cells from the inside of the nose, and then analyzes them for the coronavirus’s genetic material.
RT-LAMP Covid Testing
Perhaps the most promising development in large-scale coronavirus testing. Researchers at Cornell have submitted pre-publication data to the FDA for review and approval.
An expedited review process for emergency use authorization is happening now.
